Process

Brainstorming

  • Engaged in collaborative brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for our Articulate 360 lesson.
  • The project scope and goals were defined using Google Docs and Slides to establish a shared understanding.

Creating a Project Roadmap

  • Developed a comprehensive roadmap outlining key milestones and timelines.
  • Clearly define what constitutes an activity, focusing on creating three micro lessons:
    • Radio – an auditory lesson designed for absorbing information
    • Hot Spots – a practice lesson for connecting concepts
    • Spot the Smish – an interactive lesson focused on hands-on application.

eLearning Storyboarding:

  • Collaboratively designed a mood board with a detective theme to set the tone for the lesson.
  • Utilized Google Slides for standardized content and employed AI tools to brainstorm a detective script, streamlining the storyboarding process.
  • Produced a mood board in Google Slides to outline the flow of the lesson in Articulate Rise, facilitating peer review, feedback, and creative problem-solving.

Creative Problem-Solving:

  • Initially, we considered using both Rise and Storyline differently; however, collectively decided to build the entire lesson in Storyline for a user-centric approach.
  • Focused on minimizing scrolling to enhance the learner’s experience within a single location.
  • Encountered challenges with triggers, leading to troubleshooting and problem-solving sessions.
  • Explored the vast possibilities of triggers in Storyline, including slides, objects, events, actions, layers, and conditions, fostering an environment of the limitless potential for asynchronous learning.
  • Regular collaborative meetings were held to dissect each other’s work, provide mutual support, and deepen our foundational understanding of triggers. This iterative process contributed significantly to our collective skill development and project success.
