How to Purchase an RFID Antenna Cable

Project Summary

Buying an RFID antenna cable sounds simple until you try it. Three things have to be right — the connectors, the length, and the insulation — and each is a decision the customer must make before they can order. Get any of them wrong, and the cable that shows up doesn’t do the job, which means a return, a support call, and a system sitting idle in the meantime.

This is the decision guide I built to prevent that: one of the 95+ videos I produced as atlasRFIDstore’s sole video producer. The script came from one of Atlas RFID’s experts. I annotated it with B-roll ideas, then built and filmed the B-roll, recorded the audio, and cut the final video, using on-screen graphics to make the parts and their differences visible before checkout.

While my RFID explainers taught what the technology is and how to use it, this one supports the moment of purchase: the same instructional job, aimed at a decision rather than a concept.

At the end of this video, you’ll see the channel’s custom end screen, which I designed in After Effects — a motion-graphics piece that helped increase the channel’s subscriber base.
