Surviving in Place Project

In 2023 and 2024, the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering (CIDE) partnered with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) to distribute over 1,700 battery systems to families across Colorado who rely on life-sustaining medical equipment. This page features videos that provide detailed walkthroughs on using the two types of available batteries: Delta 2 Max and Delta Pro.

Initially, instructional flyers were included with the batteries, but participants found them challenging to understand and unengaging. To address this issue, we created instructional videos to offer a more engaging way for participants to learn about the various battery systems.
