I developed an interest in education while in a digital media fellowship program as an undergraduate student. My interest deepened while producing instructional videos for an RFID company. Through my experiences, I became intrigued by how technology and education can collaborate to create engaging learning experiences.

My Backstory
During my undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I was awarded a Fellowship position in the Digital Digital Media Fellowship program. This program functioned as a creative agency, providing multimedia services, web design, innovative learning solutions, instructional design, and tech support. My time in the fellowship allowed me to refine my existing skills in these areas while acquiring new ones, preparing me for a career in digital media and educational technology.
Towards the culmination of my fellowship, one of the program directors connected me with an opportunity at atlasRFIDstore, an RFID e-commerce company. There, I served as a Digital Media Assistant for over five years, producing instructional videos that seamlessly combined my interests in video production, audio engineering, visual design, teaching, and motion graphics.
My passion lies in developing educational resources through video production, digital media, and visual design to enhance learning experiences in academic settings. This aligns seamlessly with my pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Learning Design and Technology, where I aim to further hone my skills in creating innovative and engaging educational content for diverse learners.
